As part of a nationwide bake sale (41 sales in 27 cities), Ristretto Roasters and Barista will both be selling countless scrumptious goodies for the cause between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., featuring more than 40 home bakers alongside Portland’s top professional baking aces.

Jackie- The key, I believe,(at least in Oregon) is "suggested donation" pricing, this way you're not actually selling anything per se.
