A wonderful story; brings back many memories of 61 & 62 Pierrepont. I have forwarded this story to Mark M. who I had the pleasure meeting and of dining with last month. He spoke so warmly of your dad. It seems the Heights is a tiny community.

a lovely story sure to nudge most everyone off into their own kitchen tales... family & food: I was sent back to one sunday afternoon in dallas, charcoal glowing, dad in the backyard presiding proudly over his red snapper, both of them just back from the gulf.
Their is great richness and honesty here, no doubt you must be a fan of Harrison, cook, poet and brave soul.
